I think this story’s patch is the prime example of this flaw. We got off a rather high point from the previous patch’s climax, but this part of the story did very little to connect from there (besides the sprinkling of Sarah’s silhouette here and there).

What they need to do is to stop letting the banner characters influence the story of the patch. The same goes for HSR and Genshin too. I have lost count of how many times these games ruined the main story just to shill a banner character.
