It's doomed to fail. ER's trash because they took a nice thing and ruined it. ER was perfectly fine as a sidestory where you could go and learn about the flamechasers. While Kiana is on her own adventure and stuff, Mei is also on adventure to find the truth about ER and it would have been actually GOOD to run these stories parallel to each other but Honkai and good writing are just simply things that are doomed to not go together.
