They're not gonna suddenly be putting SAM+Lygus duos in the endgame rotation with Break team perks.
She "solves" a problem the team largely does not have, because you're not bringing Break to unbreakable enemies, so she's just slightly speeding up your Break damage on Breakable enemies.
Which has nothing to do with Firefly falling off on 5-size enemy packs with 0 Fire weakness while a bunch of power creep 5-target AOE characters got released.

So unless they're going to 1 target a lot... that's a brick meta if I've ever seen one.
And EVEN THEN it's Castorice's team who suffers more since the dragon's final attack is still a bounce that focuses down to 1 target if needed. She's nowhere near as handicapped against even 1 target as Firefly and Fiexiao were against 5.
