There was a lot of passion for episode 64 since there were plans like that but you know what they say.

What do I need to do to make Centur-Ion good. I've tried it in TCG/Genesys/Master Duel and it feels awful everywhere. I play it with things like Fiendsmith, Bystial, Mitsu, RDA, and more, and it always feels like the weakest engine that powers the deck down.

Here's how this works:
>4 month long tournament, spanning from the 7th of September to the 18th of January (20 rounds), with the Top 4 Finals taking place on the 25th of January
>new participants can join the tournament at any point in time, just sign up on the tournament page
>a single round will be held each week
>BO3 matches and we're using a very basic leaderboard system, match wins and byes net you 3 points, match losses net you 1 point and no shows give you nothing
>2 no shows in a row will result in a disqualification
>matchups will be randomized each week, as allowing new players to join all the time messes with any automated round systems
>The randomized matchups will be announced in the thread each Monday and the matchups can agree on the time and date of the duel during that week
>you are allowed to change decks between rounds
>you can do Genesys (or any other format of dueling) instead of Advanced TCG if both players can agree on the terms. The Top 4 finals in January will still be Advanced TCG only, however.

I forgot that Yuzu's Riding Duel debut was this good, I actually cried in this episode, Yuya was depressed and Yuzu tried to cheer him up with her duel, also I can't blame Yuya for falling and becoming Zarc after this, the people around him are assholes not to mention Yuto keeps dumping his PTSD memories onto Yuya and they keep pushing away Yuzu who is his emotional support and making his mental health continue to decline.

Neat. Idk man, I think it's much easier to keep the concept of "SS your own monster to the opponent's field" banned. The four I can think of have never been used for anything healthy:
Knightmare Corruptor Iblee
Branded Expulsion
Imperial Princess Quinquery
Albion the Sanctifire Dragon
Iblee is a weird case because she's intended to be degenerate, all the more reason it should probably go. The other three have best been used to lock you out of summoning or some other mechanic: and now we're fully at a point where bad shitcards with negative restrictions that could only ever hurt the user see play. tldr even calling Mjollnir or Gimmick Puppet Nightmare floodgates is disingenuous, they're archetype locks only intended for the guy summoning them. Instead of banning another shitcard with that trait every time a Branded or K9 player adds it to their deck (you've still got Ra's Disciple, D/D Orthos, etc.) you should hit the enablers. They already did so with Expulsion. It'd be like banning another dozen recursive cards to protect pre-errata Firewall or a dozen tuners with GY effs instead of Halq all over again.

The New Albaz is actually very good in springans.

It just gets to a point after you ban the problematic spellcasters and dark and light monsters that are easy to set up that players will just move away from locking. I'm a massive Jackfag and can only imagine it's that. Not just the "Blazing" but even "Dominion" fits him, he's the king. If we get a playable level 10-11 synchro, good non-tuners, and a field-spell to make Stone Sweeper's ss condition live while also doing something helpful, I'd be satisfied. >new participants can join the tournament at any point in time, just sign up on the tournament page

>BO3 matches and we're using a very basic leaderboard system, match wins and byes net you 3 points, match losses net you 1 point and no shows give you nothing
>2 no shows in a row will result in a disqualification
>matchups will be randomized each week, as allowing new players to join all the time messes with any automated round systems
>The randomized matchups will be announced in the thread each Monday and the matchups can agree on the time and date of the duel during that week

4) 2+ different archetypes that work well and are connected in lore (Branded, various Draco storyline decks etc.)
5) Archetype combined with generic soup support (Jurrac Dinos, P.U.N.K. Psychics etc.)
6) 2 archetypes unrelated in both lore and artstyle that simply mesh well together visually (Magistus Dracotail, Invoked combined with various different decks etc.)
7) 2 archetypes whose artstyles are so wildly different it somehow works (Melffy Ojama etc.)
8) 2 archetypes that don't mesh together visually at all
9) Slop goodstuff piles with cards from 15 different decks
10) Anything with flavor of the month engines, unless it looks good with your deck then it moves up to spot number 6
