Honestly new game modes do not bother me. Especially when they are made by a third party developer and can quietly die in peace.

What DOES bother me is when they sacrifice Fortnites integrity as a franchise for the sake of making these modes feel more important than they actually are.
I can't believe a significant chunk of the games visual identity is shared with fucking Lego. Some random other property with nothing in common to Fortnite is now, at all times, represented in Fortnites shop, locker, battle pass, main menu, etc etc etc. If the WB thing comes out and I need to deal with a section of the locker and chunk of the shop dedicated to fucking Bugs Bunny Ears I'm going to be pissed.

As far as I'm concerned, every single decision addition to the game should have a justifiable use in Battle Royale. Cars are fine, music is fine, auras would be fine in they wanted them to be.
Legos are ridiculous. Instruments are ridiculous. If they are adding Space Jam and we get a basketball customization section, it would be absurdly ridiculous.
