Saori declares the Squad have decided to turn themselves in after the dust is settled, surprising even sensei. They are ready to stand trial as terrorists, as Subaru warns them. Saori says she will take most of the responsibility so the rest of Arius students have nothing to worry about. She is about to invite Subaru when Subaru abruptly shuts her down. She accuses Saori of pretending to be a good girl at the eleventh hour, or fancies herself a sage who understands everything. Subaru says Saori's way of thinking is no different from the Trinity's oppression. Subaru says the remaining students including her are those who kept Arius together, and the Squad and sensei abandoned them. Saori thinks back to her new understanding of the Vanitas verse after seeing the outside world, and tells Subaru she regrets how she spent her life.

For me I'm just tired of the pace of things. Volume EX is obviously an anniversary event, but after taking more than a year to get there unless it's absolutely top tier I don't think it was worth it to drag it out for so long. And I still don't agree with the new Giga volume being entirely Millennium exclusive. The reason Volume F was good was because it was the culmination of everything up to that point.

Events are still good, but the kinds of stories they've been putting out for the volumes just don't feel like they have the same weight they used to, which isn't terrible, but then the pacing of the volume entries is so dragged out still. Why do I have to be on a 3 month log treadmill for something that takes an hour to read in its totality? Doubly so when the CG work being put into the recent volumes barely exists.

The gameplay is stagnant and hasn't had anything interesting added to it in years. So I don't really have any incentive to log in anymore. I still love the characters, the universe, and want to love the game, but it just feels like it's slowing petering out.

Trinity and Millenium got multiple anniversaries and main story volumes. Gehenna is one of the main three schools so it should get a similar amount. Hyakkiyako, rabbits, and Arius have gotten more. Trinity is always fun because ANY group in trinity can be the protagonists of their own story. Ass club, justice league, tea party, Make up work club , etc; trinity feels like everyone is their own protagonist, which is why it's the best school. Trinity really is a collection of different stories coming together

Gehenna sucks because every single thing exists to revolve around Hina, there is nothing outside of Hina, all things are Hina even the things that aren't must pay special homage to Hina, even Pandemonium event must be about Hina. Gehenna is the "love Hina" school where all things were really about Hina and Hina accessories

There’s other Gehenna students that are popular and many fans like the school overall. The Millennium+Trinity anniversary got more effort and that’s on top of the other ones they had. And an anniversary doesn’t compare to getting two main story volumes. Trinity writing works amazingly because a lot of the girls are initially plain and boring. The writers can add a little spice to them during the event or main story and call it character development. Gehenna students are established as too quirky or too perfect from the start and that is why they can't add more spice during their stories because it will just dilute their character which might make readers see it as mischaracterization instead of growth. Tldr; plain and boring girls are the best.

You've never watched a good comedy show. Quirky characters are great material for dramatic developments because you can explore all of the weird stuff that pushes their buttons. And the contrast when you have a joke character get pushed to their limits and then suddenly things aren't so funny anymore is really effective for drama.
