Nikita has basically confirmed that version 1.0 will be boring as fuck during the interview with Pestily, as they have focused all their attention into the implementation of the storymode quests and cutscenes that no one cares about.

They could have focused on gameplay improvements, like reviewing the price and availability of items from Traders so we have a more logical gear progression (why the fuck is 5.45 PS ammo still locked behind Prapor 3?), but instead we will get some janky Traders sitting inside raids and narrating some AI slop to us.

There's really no risk because I only lose flea market rep if they forget to wipe everything, and in that case I would have a bunch of THICC item cases at the start of the wipe which is huge for someone who plays with a Standard edition with a tiny stash that fills up completely in a single raid.

I'm just not sure how much I would hate only having one slot to sell my items in the flea market because of the very negative flea reputation that I would have until I can finally bring it back up again, which will take time.

When a fight starts I usually start repositioning pretty aggressively or doing wide flanks so it gets hard to bring a team along on those snap decisions. Being in a squad just feel like you're constantly in a state of chaos, disorganized and fumbling through the whole raid. There's a big reason why BSG isn't selling Unheard edition through Steam and only doing through their website.

The "Prepare For Escape" and "Left Behind" editions are almost completely useless so you're basically spending extra money on the game to get absolutely nothing in return.

I feel like that's for non-x3d cpu's and ram usage is resolution dependent based upon my testing. On 1440p w/ dlss I've never come close to filling 32gb even on high textures. Nikita also said that they've improved performance but I seriously doubt that. AM4 x3d will likely be a subpar experience unfortunately; seems the game really wants your cpu to be at ~5ghz.

I literally ordered a Logitech g600 from Japan because they stopped making them in the states and it's the only mouse with full side buttons AND mouse wheel nudge. It's been a ride boys, the beta might have been the most fun I've ever had in video games. A bit disappointed in my stats for the hardcore wipe, I try to stay above a 1.0 pmc k/d...although I certainly died more than 10 times to non-pmc sources.

My entire strat for lvls1-30 was completely fucking botched because of the hardcore wipe. I usually have incredibly cheap but effective kits that I source from traders early on but the inflated prices absolutely fucked me when combined with the low sell prices. Then the lack of flea meant I couldn't get my usual barter items. I would have loved running endless MP5s and M870s in the first two weeks but the price of everything from PK was grossly inflated. Couple that with the lack of being able to keep vaseline in my butt (my one metaslop habit, sue me, I'm on that shit 24/7), and it really threw my mojo off.
