They confirmed I have like 120 previous bans.

I'm basically on a thin line. I'm already permabanned on /v/ and I'm close to getting permabanned in the whole site.

My pass is from 2017. That's 15 bans a YEAR. Sometimes the whole thread gets banned and you get a blanket 'banned for replying to off topic posts' ban.

I too use the site a lot and have had a lot of bans. Not nearly that many, but I'm sure I am banned around 5 or 6 times a year.

I asked because the thread that got me permabanned was something really innocuous. I made a Half Life thread with a Touhou pic. They said it was a /vg/ thread and I got a permanent ban there.

I simply had to ask if it was THAT important to warrant a ban like that, but they confirmed it was due to the previous bans.

This does suck. I should be able to switch to another IP and use my pass. In fact, the very ownership of the pass should mean I'm unbannable for all but the most flagrant and egregious of offenses.
Seriously. We should get a special warning or something for our money and loyalty.
I just dropped $60 for another 3 years.
Maybe I should have spent that money on two passes for a year each. That way if I get banned I can just switch to my other pass.

I don't get banned that often, and when I do it's usually 3 days from that board. I don't remember how I got a full 30 dayer from the whole site one time. But I was pissed off and didn't return for a while afterwards.
The point is that I'm a good effortposter and I try and report the stuff that makes the site bad. When someone reports me it's in bad faith because they disagree with something I posted. It's always a technicality thing, or I get banned for something and the other people involved get to stay. Shady, biased janitors are sometimes a factor. But for the most part they don't bother me.
They certainly don't deserve the hate, most of them. But the shitty ones really suck, and they don't budge. I've never had a ban appeal do any good. And I'm a wordy motherfucker with solid arguments. I'm convinced they simply never grant them. If not me, whom?

It's usually for "off-topic". Once I was on /b/ and I went into a strange thread with nonsense codes and shit and asked what the thread was and was banned for "posting in a session thread", which to this day I don't understand. What the fuck does 'session' mean and if it's a capital offense why is it active with lots of posts? Who would knowingly participate in something that would get them banned? It's clearly an honest mistake. I think that was another short ban I couldn't appeal. Or maybe it was a long ban and I made my argument and still didn't get let back in and that's why I was so pissed at this place for a while. I can't remember. But I do think we're owed an actual explanation if we get denied. Let us know what we did wrong so we don't do it again.

What the fuck do you do for those bans? I assume a lot of you guys are purposely posting racism or porn or something where you know you can't, like the blue boards. I always report that shit. The porn they remove, the racism they ignore my reports.
That's why they won't give me a janitor job here. They want to have these rules but they don't want to enforce them. There's an unspoken chud brotherhood that I'm openly not a part of. I think they should look past that and let me on the team anyway, but they won't.

Out of my 120 bans, maybe 4 or 5 were due to lewd pics. My bans were mostly about off topic threads or replies, and many from where /sp/ and /int/ really cracked down on playful banter between countries.
