Harmonies are better mostly in defensive stats, but also way more expensive. If you don't need the defensive stats and go to a spot like Tungrad Ruins, you will be wasting money using a harmony instead of 8 offensive elixirs and skipping the defensive ones. If you don't want to minmax consumable costs and have 10 more slots used for consumables, just use a harmony.

If you want to watch how real cheaters fight then open AoS replays, choose RU region and look for strange fights like this (2 AFK players in cheater's team). The problem is we don't know how many cheaters in the game actually. It's pretty hard to detect them.

As you may have guessed, I'm running out of things to upgrade. If I want to go to harder spots, I will need the extra defenses as well. Grinding Orzekea with DUO armors may be doable, but it's far from pleasant or optimal. Higher DP means I will be comfortable enough to use AoA instead of weaker and safer lightstone combos. So unless you have some insider info about a free TET armor or anything similar that will crash their prices soon, I don't see a reason not to get an armor upgrade.

If I started BDO, would I be able to break into the PvP scene? I recently played Flyff and was having a good time of it, I genuinely really like the korean grind games, but that game is more than 20 years old, the fanbase is barely existent outside of SEAmonkies and I really want something in the same spirit thats modern and has good PvP. If you want OW PvP yeah that's dead, node wars etc is still okay an as a new Player I would say it's about a 100h grind to get fully into capped node wars (most of the gear is 90% there once you're lvl62, so it's mostly QoL stuff, crystals, artifacts...) uncapped oh boy.
The game is often $1 or even free, so give it a try and the "good to have p2w stuff" if you enjoy it is about $50 unless you want to dress up your sluts.

Nah there's nothing else out there really. Third person action combat pvp is insanely rare these days. Other anon recommended node wars but that still doesn't include the time it takes to learn the classes you're fighting, learn your class, how to stay protected, how to move, how/when to dps, how to not be completely shit, etc. It also depends on the class you want to play, some just are not going to have a good time in node war unless you're REALLY good at it. Almost everyone you'll be fighting are veterans. You have to really want to learn pvp to enjoy it. Pvp isn't GunZ dead but it's certainly dying.

Not sure when but as of recently newly assigned workers haven't been delivering to the correct locations. They will deliver to their home location, then when I cancel and restart their task ensuring the delivery location is correct it usually works the second time. Unreal Engine is the biggest crutch ever created. Its mass adoption has proven overall disastrous for game quality in spite of its rising tide effect. Not much to discuss about the game currently. Biggest part of the playerbase is afk fishing even during the day and the minority that is close to hardcap mostly grinds when the pig cave is open, so 1 hour per day. While yes, the worst of those types (we know the char names and guilds), were doing it as a pathetic power trip and ego massage it's kind of sidestepping the root issue. PA failed to create a healthy solution to competition over resources and eventually went the way of overabundance to put a final stop to it. Too big off a world, too many spots to pick from, Marni's realms, enforcement of guild war mutualism, combination of family karma, so on and so forth.

Originally people geared up to get their ZAKA and go fuck on people with the gang, rolling over each other at Sausans because lol that's all we got. We're in a world where you have to go out of your way to PvP, or make a conscious choice to and allow the PvP you do encounter to affect you and not just leave given the ocean of alternatives.

PvP has been made into an entirely personal affair and almost nobody goes out of their way to just harass people - it's not worth it, has been curtailed heavily and if done with enough malice and the wrong chat PvP leads to a ban. Ultimately, the playerbase changed, how they wanted to engage with the game changed and the rewards for PvP were never there but now the incentive is gone too. This isn't punishing evil players and the right side prevailing. It's another classic case of developers fumbling open world and letting the loudest crybabies dictate the rules of engagement. Remember, the harshest changes came down because some goober was harassing a female streamer over in slantland. Toxic positivity weighed against targeted harassment always turns into "blame the aggressive PvPers". Cool, you have no PvP and you have no playerbase, because this game was not built to cater to PvE-only gameplay. PvE was the means to the end, which is gone, so we need to stop acting surprised when the overall opinion of the game is one of giving up and total disbelief. The game is aimless, especially at the highest levels.

There's no system or game plan visible it's so many mechanics at play that don't work with each other and one of the examples is ow pvp with as a wild gear disparity as we have where even having 10 extra AP will skew the fight 95% in your favor.

Both on EU and NA after 6PM on weekdays, and almost always during weekends, all spots with any decent drop on arsha are full. That goes from inf pot spots and Elvia Serendia all the way up to Ulukita spots. Even on DSR, a spot with 20 rotations gets full on a Saturday night to the point you can't grind a full hour without interruption no matter which rotation you pick. Of course not everyone will come to DFS you, some just gank you, others just look for a sparring and will fuck off after 5 minutes looking for someone else to mess with. Sure, some will just come, check that the rotation is full and swap to an non arsha server, but the more I think of it, the harder it is to remember a single hour in arsha where I didn't meet someone at least.

I'd use the orange hammers either on TRI to TET armor taps, or use them as free taps for a PEN Blackstar to make a Sovereign, whichever you need more. The PEN armor taps are only for people who have literally nothing else to tap. At less than 0.1% chance, you may as well throwing the hammers to the trashcan.

If you need DP to go to harder grindspots, you could tap another armor to TRI. I don't think you would need more than that to go to most grindspots unless you are close to grinding Orzekea, but if you were about to grind there, you wouldn't be asking for gear advice in the first place. So maybe it's better to use the crons for AP upgrades, whether that means pushing your Sovereign or Kharazads a bit.

Not nice. Armors aren't the only thing you can spend them and with that AP and I don't think armor is what is holding you back from going to harder spots. At 320 AP you still have spots like DSR and Pig Cave ahead of you to aim at before you feel a need to upgrade your armor. You will start to see Orzekea on the horizon after you throw close to 400b silver on your Kharazads. Also I doubt you have close to 60k Caphras stones to be ready for the Sovereign sub weapon, so maybe tapping for a PEN Blackstar in preparation for that is probably the best choice, especially if you already have one PEN Blackstar sub weapon.

I'm not entirely sure but based on what I got from the ball I'd say focus on your AP for now, they're really wanting AP to be the main requirement for grind spots with the +5 monster AP for each sheet AP above 310 change, plus you're pretty much already at the DP needed to grind the first spot in Edania. The combination of the glove flame being the cheapest over time and evasion gloves/dr boots being the set for hybrid builds also leads me to believe that the majority of extra wailing armors are most likely on gloves and once people are able to convert their gear to the new combined dr/eva set they're going to want to sell out of their extra gloves hopefully keeping them in the same range or potentially dipping more by the time you'll actually need them to upgrade yourself.

It's not like horribly common that people have more than one piece of any armor but the majority of the extra pieces on accounts should be gloves, when you've been at endgame for so long you start running out of things to tap or buy and pvp players eventually want to be able to hotswap to hybrid or evasion sets, I've been on the verge of doing so for a while now so I could switch from hybrid to Dr in a swap bag with my nouver easily when needed but I've been coping to save silver. But holding a 200 billion gear piece for practically no reason, is both stupid and pointless. Even if someone would hold an Evasion glove for PvP and a DR glove for PvE, it's still pointless because the wailing green gloves is more than enough for any grindspot, even on a DR class. Even streamers who play BDO as a job for the past 5 years that are hard capped, have a lot of things to do with 200 billions. You could flip items on the market, or go after lifeskill hard cap, there are half a dozen things you could do than just bind 200b onto a useless item.

Yea, you were correct to have 100% stun resist, but that's not where it ends. The DK miniboss can knock you down if you aren't careful. So if you died in there while standing up, yes you needed some extra DP, if you died after a DK knocked you down, it's skill issue, you have to be more careful around her and only use protected skills when you see her attack. If you kept your Jetinas and didn't melt them for dawns, you could use Jetina narcs in Crypt.

Also I gotta say, the more they add classes the less they all have their own identity. Wukong plays like some weird amalgamation of dosa, hash, and scholar while having a bo-staff like tamer. I always wanted a male version of tamer, but not like this with their weird new method of designing class skills. Maybe I'm just too used to BDOs old combat and the way the key inputs matched up with the animations. It's like they took the old concept of flow skills and started making entire classes out of that. I'm not really sure if I like it but I feel most comfortable playing the older jankier classes than I do the new ones. The tent was never required to play. If you grind a lot and you cba to autopath to the villa every 2 hours of grind to grab the villa buff, the tent is a good QoL.

If you grind a lot and tend to park a character on a grindspot forever, you may need repairs. Free anvils cost 5m silver and they last a day, which isn't something to cry about, but you will have to set up the workshop to make them.
In general, if you don't grind more than 1 hour per day, you may never see the need to get the tent.

As a veteran I'm not even fully sure. I don't think so. I don't really know what it's like to not have a pearl tent nowadays but I assume it doesn't matter that much anymore. I bought mine in 2017, it was a massive account qol back then if you wanted to have a remotely comfortable grind. I'm not so sure about now.

If I remember correctly, a huge part of why the p2w tent used to be so good because the villa buff back then was only 60 minutes and you could never get a full grind session in with villa buff active without the tent, now it's 5 hours long. The f2p tent was also really expensive for repairs and pots but between infinite pots being really easy to get and classes having tons of sustain now it's not an issue. I don't think durability is a problem either. Everyone has a dream horse pegasus now so going back to town to manually repair is nothing compared to going from crescents to sand grain and back. Maids are by far the best pearl item in my opinion.

Depends on how hard both your class and the grind spot goes trashing your durability, how remote the location is, and how long you're intending to grind for. Today's gear exceeds 100 durability as well and that's before branding anything (which I suppose is arguably better used on tools), and a lot of today's more popular spots are nowhere near as remote as Valencia's, and we now have the Magnus for managing all storage at any town, anyway. If you just do one hour of grindan at a time, you can just take a quick trip back into town thanks to your welfare dream horse.

Needless to say, it is quite a different environment these days.

That said, you can buy the church and villa buffs from the tent directly, it has a little storage which I've only ever used in a pinch when I had less maids. But buying potions is kind of redundant since Infinite HP/MP ones only became pseudo-treasure. These things still practically signal if somebody is around grinding. Honestly surprised they haven't made more cosmetic designs to sell, but in any case I've heard of at least one anon around here who manages fine with maintaining the temporary camp stuff.

Can never have too many storage maids, but I usually get mine by other means standalone, like bundles or whatever else. Still, you can stack weight on horses and that's been a recognized trick since forever; in Marni Realm, horses won't even be attacked. Weight bundles would also be helpful to take some slack off relying on both, but I'm not going to blame someone for not touching that shit.

Grab resist is very real. Also, people queuing RBF tend to pop -everything- for the 15 minute match. You run into someone on the right class with the right constellation of buffs and you won't touch them. Ex: a corsair, Defense, has for quite some time queued in and sits in SA/Invincible combos on points usually distracting over half a dozen people. Uncapped gameplay has the ability to be total bullshit for most people except those who find the peaks. I agree on Ulukita but Kama and Ody look great. Regular Thornwood was my favourite spot for a long time despite shit money, simply due to the visual design and soundtrack.
But I do agree in principal that there should be varied end-game zones, I think that each region should have at least one high-gs requirement area. Remember when Cron Castle was a Level 45+ zone? Imagine a basement where it's 750 or higher GS requirement. The Serendia and Calpheon Shrines to Kzarka are also great candidates for such an area, and would also fit perfectly with Elvia both mechanically and lorewise.

The Mediterranean vibe of Balenos is really lovely, then moving to Northern mainland Europe with Serendia and Calpheon is cool too. I expect PA must be in some capacity thinking about how there's nothing worth doing in most of these regions now, but clearly it's not where their focus is. there's a shift+space short dash that you want to spam a lot to cancel skill animation, but you want to only cancel stuff right after all the damaging hits are out

you can ride the summon for funsies, they have viable skill sets for grinding people (bad)

Jealousy and sardine are the only beedog related guilds on NA that I know of. I'd recommend looking at guilds that are winning nodes and either join a successful snipe guild if you want to be a pve only player since you'll be able to get random extra boxes or a warring guild if you're interested in pvp.

Yea, endgame players can pull that off, especially during a 340% droprate event. By "endgame", I mean players at 330+ AP, not the hard capped players.
Also, something to take into account. Some people don't value things as much as their price suggests, let me explain. Let's take Orzekea for example. The money maker in this spot are these purple gems of void. If you are an idiot and sell them as they are, sure, they stay at 50m each. But, instead you grind till you have 30 and you can craft a void crystal. When you craft a void crystal, you take 1.5b worth of gems plus a destruction crystal that costs 100m, and you sell a void destruction for 3b, basically almost doubling the value of the purple gems. So, in this 2.7b hour, at base value the gems give 600m silver, if you value them as parts of crafted crystals, their value goes to 1.2b and this 2.7b hour goes up to 3.3b. Similar logic can apply in other spots too, like Elvia Trolls, where selling despairs versus crafting vell upgrades also enhances the spot's profits.

Lucky pig cave is at 3b+ per hour if a BON drops, or a couple faint origins drop, or if you get a good TRI accessory from the box. My last 2 hours at DSR were above 3b because the tide events are affected by droprate, so that means more tides per hour, and that doesn't include the very carried hours, like getting a limbo or 1 origin + 7 essences at the same hour. I also tried Dokkebi forest during the event. 3.2b just because a BON dropped. Next time I'm going to try Dokkebi on arsha since the spot is literally dead af, but at 390% droprate and full of 1b crystal drops something good may happen. I already talked about Orzekea, but let's be real, that spot is not for everyone.

For crystals I use the top page, the bottom page is what I used when learning Orzekea, and what I would recommend to any non-gauntlet class to wear in there. Snipe guilds are guilds that will try to drop on t2/uncapped nodes looking to be the only guild there so they can get the rewards for free, only downside is if the info they were going on was wrong or falls through they can end up against a pvp guild that can pull numbers and beat them fast enough to lock them out for the week if they choose to. Nice guilds will typically let you get blendered without buffs on so you can avoid the lockout, just need 100 kills/deaths and like 10 minutes I think. Bananya/Kindred is the biggest NA snipe alliance that comes to mind but they're typically pretty full, you can see possible snipe guilds by checking the nodewar info button on the map and looking at what alliances took what node, there's no surefire way to know unless you know the scene or they advertise as a snipe guild though.

1) Press O to see all quests, go to "Suggested" tab and scroll down a bit till you see the [Life] quests. They aren't mandatory, but they teach you the basics. Also since we are on the O menu, make sure you have all quests enabled, all the yellow buttons at the bottom of the O window should be shining yellow.

2) Stable keepers sell some basic shitty gear for horses and donkeys, which may do the trick for now. If you want something a little bit better, you can rent a horse gear workshop in a city and with a NPC worker you can craft some donkey gear there. You can also check the Central Marketplace to see if other players sell some donkey gear, but since this doesn't make some profit, I doubt you will find someone selling a piece.

3) You should graduate asap. Each graduation from a season gives you a lot of rewards, most notable ones being the PEN Capotia accessories, which will be your main accessories for a while. Seasons are also a great way to try more classes that also caught your attention, and if you don't like them, at least you have a decently geared alt character to park to a world boss. Let me be clear, I'm not saying that you should rush and eat through the season tickets like a chore. Play the game at your own pace. All I'm saying is if you finish all season challenges, you have no reason to stay in season, since there are a lot of rewards after you graduate, and a lot more benefits to try more classes through your next season.

1) Ye if you check you will see it asks for "Amity" to buy it. Amity is how well you know the NPC, most people brute force this when they find a similar NPC by spamming wave at the NPC, spending 3 energy for 3 amity. Don't bother with it, get a saddle with the other ways I mentioned.

2)Some of the gear will wait for you at Y rewards, stuff like a TET and a PEN blackstar after you complete some challenges. Other gear upgrades will come from completing questlines, like how the Magnus questline will reward you with a PEN boss gear armor of your choice. There are also questlines for guaranteed armor upgrades and accessories, from the NPC called Jetina, or the recently added DEC Tuvala quests. And of course there are the old usual ways of getting base gears and tapping them till they are useful or buying from other players. But we will cross that bridge when we get there, for now all you should need to figure out is how to enhance your Tuvala to PEN, and once you graduate, you get a set of TET boss gear to prepare you for what's to come.

3) Workers are NPCs hired by you to work for you. For example you can hire a worker from Velia to go and gather chicken meat and eggs from Bartali farm, after you connect Velia and Bartali farm by allocating some Contribution Points to do that. Once done, the worker will keep bringing in materials as long as his stamina meter is above 0. Later on you will unlock a Family Inventory, mostly used to store stamina restoring food so your workers can keep working 24/7. It may seem pointless at first, but later on it adds up and can bring a lot of passive income. Maids on the other hand are mostly for convenience since they let you grab items from your storage while you are away from the storage keeper, and then the maid goes into cooldown. Some use maids for mob grinding sending the heavy loot to the city, but horse stacking is an option for almost every spot.

AoA isn't that much dangerous, unless you wear it in Orzekea or undergeared in Dehkia Ash 1. Or, when available, the species combos are the safe choice and a good investment to make if you plan on staying on a specific spot for a while. 2 defensive addons and a more defensive crystal page is already way more than most people even bother using. Mystic's passive gives her +20 DP which isn't much when you remember all new classes can stay in perma SA and have better natural sustain in their kits. Wearing AoA brings a mystic down to what most classes feel like defensively, if you can't handle it, wear Vicious Shadows or the basic The Wild for raw AP without drawbacks.

1) It's one of the basic resources of the game. It's the number at the top left corner next to your energy pool, which is another resource that you need to roll workers and do other various things with it. The main use of Contribution Points is to create a worker empire network that brings in silver in item forms from all over the map. You can sell the items on the market, or mess with them with lifeskills like cooking or processing, up to you.
2) Pick either the helmet or the chest, these are the safe picks since the gloves and the boots have 2 versions each, no need to complicate stuff so soon. I think there is a second PEN from season graduation or reaching lvl 60-61, so picking these 2 first is recommended.
3) One of the things that pushes new players away is the item clutter, and I don't blame them. What you can do is start organizing your storages. For example, I have Trent as my enhancing storage, so all black stones, black gems, cron stones etc, go there. Similarly with other towns for other purposes. So when I reach a storage keeper, I just press "Auto move to all" and the unnecessary items get stored where I set them to be stored.
4) You can start immediately if you already decided on which other class to create and try.

You get more points by doing quests and doing most lifeskills also drops some byproducts. Cooking has Witch's Delicacies for example, which you can exchange for more cont. XP. It's good to turn them in for XP till you hit 350 at least, I'd say.

If your season challenges don't mention Naru gear anymore, you can throw these to the trashcan and also sell the beginner stones. Always keep the time filled stones and don't forget to exchange them all before you graduate, because they get deleted with graduation.

Leave everything you possibly can in your Challenge menu (press Y) and Black Spirit's Safe (press B) until you need it. They have infinite storage as well as not yet 'starting' things which are time-limited. However, some challenges will disappear after an amount of time so collect those before they go away. You can invest Contribution Points in buildings in towns to get more storage. In the early game this isn't a bad use but as other anons have said, getting a worker empire is the end goal for most of your contribution points.

If you speak to a Central Market Director, which you can be navigated to by using the find NPC menu, you can from there view the central marketplace and its associated storage.

The letters are mostly useless afaik and the title item is useless once you right click and get the title in your profile. I guess you can keep it just to be safe or as a memento. The extra artifacts you can either store them in your artifact inventory, there's an artifact icon in your inventory screen and can dump them there for now. You will need the extra artifacts later to make different combos with them, so keep some, otherwise you can simple alchemy them from the processing menu and sell the resulting item you can get from processing them.
These misty breeze books are flat XP increases, that's why they don't have a duration on them. But these ones specifically are for Skill XP, which lately isn't a problem since they rebalanced how much Skill XP classes need. And don't stress about these items with the repeatable quests, 99% of the times you shouldn't even bother with them.
The item clutter nightmare gets better once you start sorting them and realize most of the items you get randomly are not that much useful, and at worst case scenario are re-grindable.

As for Wukong, there are some leveling challenges to hit 61 before August 7th, meaning that if you make one and tag it, just a few hours of grinding at your chosen high exp spot on your main will get you all the rewards.

That's because this is the point where the game starts telling you to go do whatever you want. Do you want better gear? Get into grinding your first spots and do your first quests for gear. Do you want to try lifeskilling? Go experiment with gathering. Do you want to see more of the lore and get more quest rewards? Keep questing. Do you want to try another class? Graduate this one and try another seasonal. The main advice I would give you instead is to join a newbie friendly guild. Having some friendly and willing to help people in your guild chat will make dealing with some of these 10 year old questlines a bit less of a chore.

I've a C7 Kutum on me. If we assume 2.5mil per stone, that's around ~55bil before considering another PEN offhand to acquire and pump. yes and no, you can play as long as you want but you are limited by a special resource in the early game, mid game is a none issue.

not by design, it's a korean mmo, you can play the game for 1000 hours and never interact with a single person but most guilds are social focus.

overall the game is great unless you wanna compete, then its a pay to win garbage but if you just wanna have fun it's the best.
