No, it's one-shot content at this point. The raids take 3~4 mins to complete, most of which is spent on loading/cutscenes.
There is a grand total of 0 mechanics you need to know. Saders keep 3A for phase 3 and use it on entry.

If you're party lead, movement usually goes like this:
>red does all the heavy lifting in phase 1 and 2 and enters left in phase 3 (you most likely won't be red lead so don't worry about it)
>yellow usually does nothing until phase 3 and enters up in phase 3, if yellow is strong enough they help red clean rooms in phase 1 to clear faster
>green literally does nothing until phase 3 and enters right room in phase 3
If you aren't party lead, all you do is hit whatever mob is on the screen and maybe dodge the occasional red circle on the floor as usual.

tl;dr it's piss-easy just apply, if raid already has a few carries and a sader most hosts (except the usual shit eaters of course) will accept you

The cheapest way is to get random epics that drop cursed and purify those and transfer the curse onto your current gear.
Once you get a cursed item you can either roll the neopremium machine if you have tokens for a scroll, buy the scroll off auction hall or buy the recipe to craft it via Klonter. The recipe requires materials that are hard to get in this level cap so you might just need to buy it outright. Also make sure you read and use the right scroll, one makes it equippable and gives the stats while the other removes the curse entirely and deletes the bonus stats along with it.
Once you get it and move it over it will overwrite whatever enchantments you have on the old piece of gear so if you have good event stuff you might lose it.
Current cap content is pretty terrible for farming cursed gear so you'll need to go back to 110 cap content to do it. You can run things like mediator of balance or library and pray for cursed drops. Getting a full set will take a long time but you can probably get enough pieces to use all your +10 tickets before they expire.
What makes it difficult is sometime in I wanna say 95 cap they made it so only epic gear can drop cursed and the current level cap is very stingy with epics. So by going back to 110 cap content which drops epics like candy you'll have much better odds of seeing cursed pieces.

pure grimoire, silver/gold amplification grimoire, and the aforementioned one shot amplification grimoire can add dimensional abilities to gear however a quick look in the auction hall lists them at 25m, clearly not worth buying at all. events tend to have silver amplification grimoires as a reward from time to time and very rarely the one shot amplification grimoire. what >>1809652 said is correct and is the cheapest and best way to get amp pieces outside of events. amplification is expensive and one of the last things to do while perfecting a character so i wouldn't worry too much about it. if you don't think you can get a cursed piece on your fsader in time then use the +10 ticket on your muse instead and choose sub equipment and/or magic stone first to be optimal.

Yeah, after about two weeks of full-FP hells on my main with one upgrade (a lego) I dipped. I'm like a month behind on Venus at this point too, I'm probably not going to make Nabel cutline. The cap's pretty much over for me at this point. They had me playing 3-4 hours a day and apparently that still wasn't enough for them to reward me, so of course I burned out.

It's even funnier because they got even greedier and stapled an empty month to the start of the cap. There was no reason for the 30k to 40k fame range to even exist, but here, spend a month trying to get through it anyways. It'll save us money if we don't have to release Venus right away.

My best is 57k after every day logins, dailies, weekly adv, Venus if applicable, Mu raid for some extra materials, burning whatever DoD materials I can. I'm stuck in about the same situation. And the reason why the pure luck sucks is that there actually are deterministic parts of the cap (Venus and Nabel) but you have to get through a bunch of pure luck first to get to them. Which defeats the point of them being a regular, deterministic grind. I don't meet Nabel cutline, so I'm just behind now, permanently, because I got unlucky. It's the worst system ever devised. Caps are supposed to start with the deterministic content so you can grind it for a few months and be guaranteed a payoff even if you're unlucky. What's the point of only enabling the guaranteed payoff for people who get lucky? It's fucking retarded.

They clearly fucked up by mixing the previous hell rng progression with 110 cap's fame gated progression.
You can have one or the other but not both.
Fame gates in 110 cap "worked" (I still think it was the worst progression system by a wide margin) because you got experience fed into your gear at a predictable rate. There were a few jackpots here and there but in the grand scheme of things people that played every day progressed more or less at the same pace.
Now the variance is much higher.
That high variance existed in the pre-110 caps but you were never gated out of content if your damage was shit, you would just clear a lot slower or would just buy raids if your gear was absolutely hopeless.
With fame gates you can't even buy runs to not fall behind on weekly materials because you can't even enter the dungeon.

orb is really bad until epic tier, once you get to epic you can charge the buff while it is active and get more uptime on it but even then you really want it at primeval tier, at primeval tier it's probably in the top 5 but the further you are from primeval the worse it is
alpha is the least popular set because it gimps your damage in party play but it's actually a really strong set if you play solo, if you don't care about party play on that character it's a clear winner
serendipity has some way to rig the reset on certain classes, where you get one skill as close to 33 seconds cooldown as possible and then get a bunch of low cooldown skills that you spam out to keep resetting the 33 second cooldown skill but similarly to orb i think you need to be at least epic tier to use the build and i'm not sure if lightbringer is even one of the classes that can pull it off

Orb's like the second worst set in the game even at Prim. It's way too risky to use, you're going to drop to 70% damage a lot because you failed to upkeep the buff.

How do non Necro thief classes actually play and how good are they?

Kunoichi: Use Cycles of Eternity skill to record the skills that contribute to it, release a big fireball on monster when the meter gets full and you've recorded 6 skills. The more damaging of skills recorded, the bigger the fireball damage. You also want to cancel skills into skills so your fire shadow casts them for you. Pretty good, not too hard to play once you get a hang of canceling skills into skills. Doing this also reduces the cooldown of her 95 skill up to 10 times per use of the 95 skill when it's on cooldown. Using the low level Kunai Throw skill and binding this to something like spacebar is a popular way to end a chain of skills and start moving to avoid damage. She has some iframe skills too like the 35, 45, and 60 skills.

Rogue: Use skills and use the Hit End skill near the end of their animation/when they've done all of their normal damage for extra hits and damage. Requires learning the timing but it's actually easy to play once you do. Moves very fast due to self-buffs. No idea on current performance since I haven't played it since the 95 cap.

Shadow Dancer: Requires hitting from behind to get the better (more damaging) version of most skills. There's a skill you can use every few seconds to turn yourself invisible to force back attacks but this is one of the hardest classes in the game to play effectively and the performance payoff isn't there, it's just kind of mediocre if you play it right. Also has a secondary buff that makes attacks splash to other enemies in its radius when you back attack to help clear rooms of normal non-boss monsters out. Kind of SP starved in the current cap. Also very bad when you group if there's any lag since a lot of her skills are grabs.

i've benched all of my thief classes for years, i want to say 2017 was the last time i played them but i do know both rogue and shadow dancer are reliant on a stable internet connection when playing in a party. if there's even the slightest amount of lag expect some skills being delayed or not working properly. shadow dancer suffers the most from this because her main gimmick is attacking from behind and backstab skills are classified as grabs, if you can't land those backstabs your shadow clones won't proc which is a huge dps loss. as such, she is the worst thief class. i don't know much about kunoichi's performance so i can't say.

If you can't participate in the content on offer I guess a lot of people just don't see the point playing, and the level caps since 100 have been just the gearing progression content with little else to do so if you're locked out of being able to do whatever the current content is due to bad RNG then why play? 100 and 105-110 at least kind of had gearing systems with failsafes or weren't that bad at least until customs became required in 110 Seon content, but 115 has none of that and is just purely luck.
Previous to level 100 you didn't really have to do the high requirement content and could make a lot of money and buy stuff with it by just running dungeons like Total Eclipse or Grandine Power Plant before that and the focus wasn't entirely where it is now.

If I had to choose I would go for pack, your damage will always go up but the utility in this level cap is limited. Shadow is just a very boring set since its skill very rarely comes up even if its numbers are really good. A big part of level caps to me is to play with new interesting stuff, using something that's just a really good stat stick isn't very exciting. But if you just want a big sandbag number then it's hard to justify not picking shadow.

Promoting is more expensive than transferring.
Going from tuned legend to epic costs 860 residues, 20 epic souls and 165 void souls, and tuning a legendary 3 times also costs 360 residues and 60 legendary souls on top of the above.
Meanwhile transferring an epic costs 750 residues, 20 epic souls and 150 void souls. (And 540 high grade elemental crystals but those are under 100 gold each and you should have a few hundred thousands of them anyway)
Looks to me like getting a drop you want on an alt and transferring it is preferable to just brute forcing a promotion on your main, your alt is also going to get stronger while you do this as well.

So far I've stopped sending oracles to characters that hit primeval 1 with a primeval weapon and trickle account bound oracles down my account. Main got all oracles until he hit primeval 1 with a primeval weapon, once he did I sent all oracles to the strongest alt and worked my way down. The characters not getting account bound oracles anymore still get to run hells from their dailies and weeklies and can make some slow progress that way.
I'd only start looking into promotion/transfers once I had no further use for void souls which to me would mean every character I care about has a good primeval weapon and even then I would probably transfer primevals instead of epics first.

Then the question becomes what do you even do in this game once you're graduated. Some Korean I watch recently got all his epics tuned, turned all his primevals into black fangs and made all his fusions into BiS distinct epics. And now he realizes that the only thing that character can do anymore is do pointless shit like farming old raids for achievements, spending all of its FP in Cursed Ruby to get his character prestige level to go up or turn the character into a dumping ground for account bound archive keys. It basically turned the character into a weird errand monkey whose FP is completely worthless. It's an abstract kind of feel.

For example, a legendary grade III Cleansing shoulder gets changed via armory into its epic grade counterpart.

If you disassemble or convert a tuned item you get all the souls used back but not the gold or traces.
If you convert it to a different set but the piece stays the same rarity then the tunes move over to the new piece free of charge.
You can also refund a tune at any time but again you only get the souls back, not the gold or traces.

In your example your conversion would cost 1 epic soul but give you back 60 legendary souls.

Old dungeon to farm aiolite and hell mode materials from two level caps ago. It dropped chests that you could combine into higher tier chests for better rewards, it's the reward UI they recycled for Bleeding Mines.
Apparently it's the most efficient raw exp farm in the game if you get to the last floor, clear all the mobs and return to town without fighting the boss and do that over and over again. At least that's how the Korean guy was farming it.

Did a run of Abyss today and got a primeval and an epic for my set, neither were dupes. Not only did this make me hit primeval 1 but this is now the first character on my account with 2/3 primeval accessories.

i get random disconnections in waves that come and go and no it's not my internet. other people seem to be affected every time it does happen. i do know that if you go afk for too long on the character screen you get automatically disconnected.
