As someone who has more experience with real assault rifles than probably most of you guys and especially the "devs" at OWI, I can tell you: Squad is currently a disaster! The developers have ruined the game – real soldiers do not behave like 12-year-olds with toy guns, the gameplay is unbalanced, unrealistic, and leaves no room for TRUE skill. Before the ICO, Squad was the most realistic milsim on the market. I am a highly respected server admin and a comp (comp is short for "competitive" wich is the Squad equivalent to a counter-strike pro gamer, but in my opinion it has an even higher status than a CS pro because Squad comp is like 30 vs 30 instead of just 5vs5) player who has played with some of the best players of the world. The overhaul has destroyed everything – the game is basically dead now and everybody has quit playing. Hopefully, they’ll revert it, or the game will be dead. What the community needs to do is holding together and SIGN THIS PETITION (link). I have been playing tactical shooters since 2016 (almost a decade of experience), first on console then on PC and what is this "PR" even supposed to be? The graphics are completely unrealistic and you cant even do lean pop shots (as you would as a real solier irl). The game before v 6.0 was what made be switch to mouse and keyboard and I’m just really disappointed. For now im going back to CoD but i am counting on you, share this petition if you are likeminded.
