I like that Steam tracks the time I spend playing, but Purple having chat integration outside of the game is neat. Functionally, they are the same.
Warlock was just released like 2 weeks ago, but the skill book system makes playing it pretty different. Also Soulburn is no longer a party buff.
No arena, battlegrounds only. You can still compete with whales if you're clever and coordinate with your team, but you won't be winning any straight fights

They're probably the worst class to play as a newcomer, they also lost all their party utility as most classes did, with a few exceptions like party iframes and summoner which still works as an excellent support class

I used to only play Jins during live, Lyns just happened to be what I decided to play in Neo, I'm not married to the race or archetype, Usashi started because someone here dared me to do a trap Lyn and I decided to try Assassin.

Combat is pretty much the same but skill specs are hidden behind a book system that will make you grind for months, some classes are crippled harder than others by this
There's RNG everywhere on top of more RNG and we have a stamina system that limits how much you can grind, but in all honesty that's not really an issue considering how many stamina potions you can get, most people struggle to even use the ones they get.
The combat is still super fun but there's absolutely 0 social aspects in it, most people barely talk and just run stuff.
And while we definitely lack costumes, Coomer stuff is still there and its pretty good

destro gameplay is mostly alternating left and right click with the occasional execute(or mighty cleave). it has a ton of cc but is pretty immobile and lacks iframes somewhat.
the market is totally dead though, with almost no core books being sold, or if they are, at completely unreasonable prices(40k execute lmao)... unless you like gacha and get lucky or are willing to wait a while for a few selection boxes i would avoid it.

its definitely not a bad class for damage though, it is quite hard on some fights like hae mujin and doesn't really have any party utility outside of stun/kd which is to say it almost has none.

destro mostly gets bad rep from when blue books were expensive on account of the fact that it was actually unplayably awful without at least relenteless fighter, cleave and execute, which together was like 20k gems or more, nowadays that is like 500 gems lol
