This was the XP rate when ASE first launched. I've added a custom level curve that at 70 begins scaling down the XP required to level until at 100+ it's equivalent to 1x.

Dino spawns are equally weighted across all levels instead of being skewed to lower levels. Makes it easier to find good tames while also making the wildlife more dangerous.

The server is balanced around challenging solo play that emphasizes the survival aspect of the game and proper progression through all of the tiers. I want to play through all of the story maps, so the goal is to be the first to ascend off The Island by beating the Alpha Overseer (beta and gamma don't count, faggot). After the first person achieves this, I'll open a clustered Scorched Earth server for character only transfers. When the first person ascends off SE, the Island server will be shut down and Aberration will be opened and we'll continue the rolling cluster that way. The bosses have been nerfed so a solo player can beat the alpha versions with good, imprinted tames and apprentice saddles. No need for breeding autism to beat the game, but the breeding rates make it a reasonable option for those who like it.
I'm also the admin of the /vm/ UO server >>1693432 that has been running continuously for over a year now. Even if I stop playing I'll keep these servers running.
