The rockets are actually incredibly effective if you know where to put them. Same with the guns, if you put the gunship in the right place at the right time it can fuck shit (Summit around the church point on the hill in particular is probably where it's most effective imo)
but otherwise it's kind of just a gamble, I've had the gunship kill nobody and I've had the gunship kill 9 people.
