Hey /ruse/, Mega Ruse Anon here, and good fucking lord it's been a while. Just to get it over with, I'm very goddamn sorry that it has been that way. I talked about this yesterday on /v/ (on a Zoroark thread, go figure), but balancing both uni work AND work work simultaneously had orbital struck most of my free time to work on Mega Ruse; emphasis on "had", more on that next. Either I couldn't find the time, or I was just too exhausted to do anything else. However, good news is that I don't have to take summer classes until later in June, and that means I'll be back in business!
So, here's my current roadmap before uni takes my soul again.
>New "mini" chapter -- Independence Day (I call it mini, but consider this the true "Summer" chapter): Anon and Z, after making room for their plus one, decide to go out on the town to properly acquaint H to the modern world to show she doesn't have to hide from it.
>Spring cleaning: Going back through the entire thing, clearing up any inconsistencies, and maybe other changes. One of which being color coding Anon's, Z's, and H's dialogue to distinguish who's talking. Anon's will be Rentry's greentext format, Z's will be colored red, but I'm not sure what to make H's.
My goal for both of these is June 22nd, but I'm aiming to have the new chapter out before June 4th where Deltarune brainrot takes hold of me so all I have during which is spring cleaning. Around next Monday is where I'd (maybe) post it.
So long as /ruse/ ain't going anywhere, neither am I. Stay tuned, /ruse/rs.

Mega Ruse Anon here again with a quick update and a slight change of plans (nothing bad, though). I've decided to go back and extend the Summer chapter a bit, and it should be released by tonight. It'll lead into the mini-chapter better and introduce H's shenanigans that Anon and Z will deal with, which is preventing her from freaking out about basic modern amenities. The Independence Day chapter is still on the table, don't worry, and will come out by the end of next weekend or any time before June 4th; followed by spring cleaning of the entire story some time before June 23rd.

Mega Ruse Anon again, rusing on company time over here for a quick update so I don't forget. Taking a look at your calendar right now might give this away, but I don't think I'll be able to have the Independence Day done by June 4th like I said, and I'm sorry for this. The last couple of weekends were taken up by tasks at home, such as moving my grandmother into a retirement home, and handling possessions she couldn't take with her between us and my cousins. That doesn't mean I've had no time at all to work on it, but it's just been slower than I would have liked. Next week for sure, or you can have my ass for it.
