Stunning that, a game set in a previously-featured region, some years after the initial presentation of the games featuring said region do not contain pokémon who only exist when they're subjected to evolutionary pressures over many, many years to adapt to their new environments.
It's almost as if they explained it in-game, by featuring pokémon taken out of their traditional habitats adapting to the new areas they ended up in (kinda like how real-world evolution works, same species' can adapt to fit varying roles, depending on what niches need filled).
Stunning that, a game set in a previously-featured region, some years after the initial presentation of the games featuring said region do not contain pokémon who only exist when they're subjected to evolutionary pressures over many, many years to adapt to their new environments.

do you really think that Gamefreak wouldn't retcon Kalos in a heartbeat if they wanted to? they don't give a fuck about continuity. they have the excuse that it can be an alternate timeline or whatever like they did with ORAS to justify mega evolutions in Hoenn.

Sounds like you imagined an entirely different Gen 9 compliment and got pissy when your patterfaggotry got laughed at by Game Freak, No, they're not going to "retcon anything in a heartbeat" because they use it as a vehicle to SELL FUCKING TOYS AT KIDS, YOU BRAINDEAD STILLBORN CALF! They don't give a fuck about the region beyond being an excuse to release another 100-ish designs to sell toys of (everything outside Japan's been "nip fucker's impression of the world on holiday" and not an actual in-depth, culturally significant look into a people's lifestyle).
