I will not tolerate Vivillon slander. Reposting from the bug thread. While the execution isn't perfect, Vivillon is one of the best designed pokemon there is. Introduced in gen 6 and with a base form that's easy to get early, it's the perfect opportunity to highlight the wonder trade feature. While the gts existed before, having access to it anytime with the pss made interacting with people all over the world much more common, and getting the different forms of Vivillon encouraged that connection. The pokemon itself is basically a slightly better butterfree, so it's barely just pushed out from S tier.

The only gen 9 Pokemon that are actively great, without relying on any previous gens, are Tinkaton and Kilowattrel, I do not care for any of the others, some of them are good, but they aren't great, the great ones that do rely on previous gens are Annihilape, Dudunsparce and Hydrapple.
