Movepool is pretty shit in earlier gens and it's typing is abysmal, but it's honestly not the worse bug out there and having strong STAB these days alongside access to Spore is nothing to scoff at. Reminder that for a good while in gen 4 Übers Parasect was Kyogre's worst nightmare.
I'm surprised Parasect has not gotten an evolution, we've been needing a new Ghost/Bug line for so long.
