For those who don't know, the fire paldean tauros is based on a cruel tradition in which torches are tied to the horns of a bull. It suffers a lot before it is taken out of its misery.
The water one is based on another tradition in which a bull is released to roam the streets of a coastal town so the bull usually falls into the sea from the port. If healthy enough it can be rescued alive but sometimes its too fat and/or tired and drowns before that.
