Yeah it's fucked up. One of the early events I ended up needing to spend like 20 hourglasses to get 2 of the fucking uncommon drops. Luckily, I haven't needed to use any since then, so now I'm sitting on like 100 hourglasses. It's no longer a big deal to me that there isn't pity, but it's still annoying.

I even think that it should be a system where like each individual card drop is tied to the difficulty that you beat. So if you grind Expert, you'll get a shit ton of the EX so you can easily bling it out with whatever the flair is. Same thing for one of the lower cards, you just grind out the corresponding difficulty and you'll be able to flair that card.

The scenarios where Sabrina ends the game is more punishing to the opponent for just making simple actions like hoarding energy on a lone benched Pokemon that can get killed easily or even placing a backup mon on the bench early game which doesn't come into play the whole game until it gets dragged out for the opponent to score their winning point

Ranked is chill next to that, you can slowly climb with a deck you like, expectations that everyone tries hard are clear since it's a ranked mode. Thanks for the advice, I managed to open a second yellow bird from packs so I was able to make the full swap (along with related swaps like Rocky Helmet for Red Card and Leaf for X Speed) and I can already feel how much better this deck is doing in ranked matches.

Of course that's largely due to just how many decks are focused around EXs right now - take my latest ranked match as an example, where his Shinotic got clanged by Kommo-o, and then he threw out two Solgaleo EXs only to thud against the funny pompom bird.

Buzzwole's easy to tackle if you use Pidgeot or Blacephalon - both of whom I use in spades. Soivally actually ruins the game for almost all the decks save a few because of how much damage it shits out for so little effort.

I once again must ask who thought it was a good idea to make 90% of Fire cards burn energy and then add no energy battery besides Moltres. Grass has batteries, Water has batteries, Electric has batteries, Psychic has batteries, Fighting has like one battery (and doesn't need a new one I'm telling you, you do not want a battery for Fighting), Metal has a battery, even Colorless has a battery. Like a handful of cards if any out of those types have energy burning but for Fire it's like "what if we made all these cards instantly dogshit" and then everything else doesn't do anything, has no synergy, or relies on a gimmick
