The days when pre-order bonus gifts were good.
The more recent ones have really are of crappy quality. Really looking at them up close burns your eyes out with all the flaws in the plastic, paint etc.
I'm thinking in particular of BDSP's Dialga and Palkia or Legends' Arceus, which are all set on circular plates. The Mega Charizard for Z-A seem to be going the same way, unfortunately.

Yup, though I took mine to the beach when I was a kid and they got sand stuck in some areas. Fondest memory was getting the Ho-oh figure solo for $20 at a closing Kmart, was super lucky
