ik simping for early gens is usually nothing but empty nostalgia, but I feel like myhticals back then actually felt like parts of the world that made sense why they are so elusive and one-of-a-kind. Now they're just a random mon that's given to you at some point with little to no explanation as to what it is or how it fits into the wider world.

The teal mask ones are an improvement over gen 5-8 mythicals imo

Love it's concept as the genetic origin, and it's ties to mewtwo because of this. The concept of a god like being just being a carefree spirit, and it being cloned in an attempt to make a super weapon, are pretty compelling.

Good picture. As a kid I half woke up and had a vivid vision of a see-through mew floating beside my bed. It didn't matter how many times I saw mew being cute in the First Movie after that, it's always been a creepymon to me.

I wish more focus was put on Mew being an asshole, like, Gamefreak's Mew, by virtue of its power, had to have consented to the experiments that created Mewtwo, which is way worse than Shudo's Mew doing the exact opposite because it thinks clones are disgusting fakes that only deserve death.
