That Colo and XD is being re-released at all is more than I would have expected just a few months ago. We'll never get a sequel or remake. As for remakes, there's Grand Colosseum and XG: Next Gen.

Unfortunately, the one person who's taken the time to build any tools for hacking these games is a mac fag so none of those tools were usable for the rest of us last I checked, and predominantly post on twitter so it's just slightly less painful to dig up than ephemeral discord server posts. If you want anything beyond a randomizer or dialogue changes it'd unironically be easier to dump the character and environment models, load them up in another engine like Unity or Unreal Engine, hook in showdown's battle system, and build the rest of the game from scratch.

I was replaying Colosseum and going through XD for the 1st time and I was going to make a thread about it afterwards but I'm glad to see there's already one.

In my mind, I have certain ideas for a 3rd game but I'm waiting until I finish XD to post them.
