You collection is making me envious and sad that I sold a lot of mine. I even had GameCube games. I only have the Switch and 3DS era Pokemon, no way am I selling those. I deeply regret letting go of soul silver with its pedometer too. I would've bought the Silver and Gold 3DS physical releases if the games were on a cart instead of a code.

You pretty much have to buy two copies to get everything. There are so many one off Pokémon that someone is going to lose out on in any trade deal. Doubly so when they make the legendary Pokémon evolve based on the game version.

Yes. Meijer had Pikachu for $25 about a year after it came out. Wasn't planning to get both, but that's a steal. Otherwise usually get both so wife & I can both play.

Comparing a DS Lite to a GBA AGS-101, it looks about as good. Colour and brightness are close enough that I can't say one's clearly better. The pixels are just very slightly smaller but you're only losing a couple of millimetres, nothing worth caring about.

I didn't get BW2 at all because I felt kinda burned out on the series and needed a break. After that, I only got 1 version. Glad they stopped doing third versions desu.
