SwSh and SV both have big DLCs, so I imagine that whatever stuff didn't make it into the main games, made into the DLCs?

Previous leaks/hacks showed Mega Evolution was originally coming back for Gen8 but got scrapped for Dynamax. Even worse is that the idea came late into production, which explains why everything about it seems lazy/rushed.
