Why the is Legends Z-A getting a paid Switch 2 upgrade that only increases the resolution and framerate yet Scarlet and Violet got a free update doing the exact same thing. I really hope it means that Switch 2 footage we saw in April was an early footage and more improvements are shown in the next Presents but it just feels like I'm coping.

The free update is bullshit. They are just using the original value of spawning Pokemon BEFORE they changed it because they didn't bothered to optimize the assets or rendered entities that aren't in the PoV most of the time. The free update is just coatriding the performance of the console rather than any improvements to the code.
