The ticket prices for the finale increased to 4,500P for the back rows up to 49,900P for the front row.
Thing is, repairing the battlefield everytime after a pokemon battle is pretty expensive.
Maybe if there was a rock concert of Van Halen or Rainbow I'd consider visiting a pokemon stadium.

I hate gen 8, but the football stadium gyms were really cool.
Also, dunno if it counts, but the Pokemon gym that I used to visit a lot when I still lived in the city and played GO was right in front of a bank, and some fellow Team Instinct retards kept putting Hypno, Probopass and typically a baby Pokemon there.
