Where is the hype for Z-A? Usually I see people talking about new Pokemon games months before they come out, but for Z-A I've barely seen anyone talk about it. Even when trailers come out I'm not seeing much discussion.

Usually at this stage, they've ran two hefty trailers to reveal information for people to talk about. We've only had one and that could easily have included the news they subsequently ran in the Switch 2 direct, so stunning people aren't talking baout it. they're normalfags, thus are being subjected to the normalfag marketing strategy of showing them everything that's incoming and going into detail with things as time shortens (the next Presents is scheduled for July 22, just in time for the Donkey Kong normalfags to emerge from playing the game to find out the NEXT timng Nintendo want them to be excited about.

You say that but the double whammy of BDSP and SV's severe launch issues that still somewhat persist on the Switch 2 have damaged their brand to the point where Nintendo had to fucking apologize for them, and PLA didn't really help despite being decent and delayed to actually be reasonable, so I dunno what they're planning. Regardless, I think remakes are actually the way to go moving forward, as you can create something slightly lower fidelity that's still better than the original and has a basic game to go off of. Dragon Quest has remakes of their older games constantly so it's not like the average Japanese JRPG player doesn't want that shit, and most Japanese developers don't really give a shit about anything but the Japanese.

There's literally nothing to talk about, because we know nothing of the true depths of the story, real time battling or even any new Mega Evolutions, all of which would be the primary draws of this game.
Instead, it's all taking so damn long that people are already sick of LZA as a concept and just want to move onto Gen 10's announcement EARLY this year rather than the usual February 2026, because they're a bunch of impatient fucknuggets who don't understand that they're only hurting themselves with their perception of Gen 10 because it, too, will have been announced too early to reveal anything substantial for an extended period of time.

not really. dp battle tower was notoriously boring and buggy compared to the ones from gen 3. Bdsp actually fixed that by giving the npc actual good team instead of just allowing them to cheat.

The game was revealed over a year ago and we've gotten a grand total of THREE trailers so far, and one of them being a teaser and the latest one basically being a recap of the first with some sparse new gameplay info thrown in. They are being EXCEEDINGLY tight-lipped about ZA.

I don't think there is all that much to reveal about the game, but most fans will probably find some interest in the new Megas.

The single urban setting is too limiting for Pokemon. Even Colosseum (whose focus wasn't exploration) had 4 cities, a village, some desert locations and a volcanic island.

I liked PLA because of the sense of danger. We are not getting that in this game.

Anyway, it's been 20 years since XD was released and now the Switch 2 has even made the Orre games relevant again. You'd think that Game Freak would want their own urban game to look richer in scope, but that isn't the case.
