Hi /vp/, I don't come to this board at all because I'm not a zoophile but gotta ask somewhere.
I want to start a collection (mainline games up to 3DS) in Japanese. This would be my first one.

Good deal or nah? I've heard that Japanese carts are cheaper than English for some dumb reason but I'm not complaining.

How do I know if the game/box/paperwork is a repro? It used to be painfully obvious back in the day but they've gotten good at it these days.

Forgot about this, im not sure about GBC but i think you can find something on r*ddit, for HGSS and Gen 5 keep in mind that the cartridges aren't grey like other DS games but black as they support infrared functionality, some sellers post pictures like this as a proof. Anyway from what i saw japanese bootlegs are way less common than english ones

Thanks. The game's label looks to be shiny so it seems legit to me, but like I said the chinks have upped their game substantially in recent years so I don't know anymore.

Its cheaper because chicken scratchings of japanese characters look retarded and fuck everything up design-wise. Nothing can beat the simplicity of English characters which also happen to be more used worldwide and thus more in demand.
