Which third world country is most likely to be adapted for a Pokemon region?

Mexico. Land wise its got interesting land forms and climate zones. IRL there are no real freeways that cross the country so it's still very wild. Animal wise it would favor plants since many of the pants are poisonous and can kill you. It's got some old lore which is a plus. People wise well if you follow the news, I could imagine wild west vibe but corrupt and people trying to get money out of you. I think it would be real gritty. Other than that it seems easy mode since it's close to the US.

My 2nd choice would be the middle east but they already did it in the XY movie, even though the UAE isn't 3rd world.

I would prefer them to implement different regions in a game, either as an aesthetic or as fan service. For example, a new Pokken Fighter where you visit different regions of the world as the setting for each fighter, similar to Street Fighter, and finally being able to see a PokeChina, PokeBrazil, PokeKenya, and more.

Obviously, this would only be a cameo; if they were really going to use a third-world country for a full game, it would have to be a spin-off like Pokemon Snap or Detective Pikachu series.

Brazil is a funny place. They have Nazi, Japanese, and even Confederate expats who still live there. It would also be another good choice of a region. Lot's of crazy stuff there. Amazon River would be obvious and of course the rain forest. Even snows there in the mountains.

Probably. Egypt or Saudi Arabia. Pokémon didn't shy away from making a mini region in the form of Haruba Village, Haruba Deserts, and Hippowdon Temple in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. They might as well expand on it.
