It's weird how quiet he has been for 2 decades.
He was the leading director of Gen 1, pretty much oversaw nearly everything. Gen 2 was the same until halfway through, it became Masuda's game and then Gen 3 onwards Tajiri's involvement is negligible except for FRLG to a small extent
