Africa is gigantic. I would propose a "linear" region following the source of the Nile, passing through interesting landscapes starting with snowy mountains, cloud forest, rainforest, tropical jungle, swamps, savannah, desert, and coast. Or the other way around, using Egypt as a starting point and continuing with Congo, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Madagascar as a DLC is perfect. This island and Lake Malawi are perfect examples of divergence with multiple regional forms from a single species of fish in Lake Malawi and convergence of lemurs and fossas in Madagascar. Being among the first inhabitants, they took on forms similar to animals that didn't exist on the island. That's why some lemurs are gigantic like chimpanzees, others are small like mice, others glide like flying squirrels, and others created a kind of sonar like bats. The fossa, being a relative of weasels, grew up with a shape similar to the big cats.

Like every country, stay away from overcrowded cities. I lived near and worked in Paris, and believe me, that city has nothing magical about it. The streets are full of homeless Muslims and Nigerian criminals. The smell of the river in the morning and in the afternoon is of raw sewage. The entire downtown area has inflated prices because of tourists, and public transportation stinks of sweat and butts.

Third and fifth images look kinda shit (from top left to bottom right) even after carefully curated picks of destinations. India obviously has cultural landmarks but you would probably just have to avoid any civilization there for an ideal experience. The overcrowded cities of course but does India even have the comfy outskirts that failing countries like Britain can at least claim?

I know it'll never happen, but I think Starter Miku would be perfect for an African region.

Skeledirge representing the north is a Nile crocodile
Rillaboom representing the center is a mountain gorilla
Primarina representing the south is a sea lion

Plus, all three share a musical motiv.

It would be interesting if they revealed that Pokรฉmon like Dodrio, Kangaskhan, Rhyhorn, Tauros, Scyther, Lapras, and Chansey aren't from Kanto, but were brought by Baoba during his safaris to different parts of the world.

It would also show how some of these evolve differently in their native region.

Nothing, it's just fun to theorize about it. Thanks to the variety of current Pokemon, you can create different regions by just adding 1-5 new Pokemon and filling the rest with Poke versions of the local fauna, like the African savannah >>57936851
