I remember finding a 100% completed Japanese copy of Pokemon Platinum with all 493 caught shiny being sold on Ebay below triple digits as a kid. I don't know if hacked saves like that are still sold but I imagine they'd be 10x the price today.

This only works on the 1.0 release of Japanese Diamond and Pearl
>have a Ditto in your first slot holding the item you want to clone, and a Pokemon that knows thief in the second slot of your party
>start a double battle (can be an early route trainer rematch with the VS Seeker)
>on the first turn, have Ditto transform into one of the opposing Pokemon. Your second mon can kill one of the opponents, just don't end the battle yet
>on the second turn, have your second mon use Thief on Ditto which should steal its hold item
>you can finish the battle any turn after the item is stolen. Both of your Pokemon should have the same item when the battle ends

Mainly want it to clone TMs, candies, choice items, etc. for my other Gen 4 games.
