The best part about those leaks that got entirely overshadowed by the humans fucking pokemon lore thing is that these devs can see all these problems a mile out they just dont do anything about it

They know dragging hidden systems from 1996 into 2020+ is bad, they know the item bloat is bad, they know all the systems are convoluted etc

I wish from next generation on they scrapped EVs/IVs, Breeding, happiness, friendship, egg moves, shinies etc etc all of these systems and reworked them from the ground up.

I've been playing these games my entire life, its not the end of the world to destiny knot/everstone blahblahblahblah, and sure they've made it mindlessly simple in Scarlet/Violet to have a near perfect Pokemon in five minutes with enough money but god damn getting into it is such a nightmare of systems on top of systems.

Arceus/Legends were wayyyyyyyyyyyy too stripped back but there has to be a middleground
