it's 2025 and they still haven't given us the ability to change a captured Pokemon's poke ball.

Whenever they do actually do this, they'll exclude any "special" types (Apricorns, Beast Balls, Master Balls, etc.) and it'll end up effectively worthless

Are you saying they’ll exclude special balls from changing? I could see beast balls and master balls being locked, but nothing else.
>effectively useless
Fuck you, color coordination is important.

I think anon meant it'd be useless because everything you could swap your pokemon into would be something they could've just as easily been caught in if certain ones are excluded. Nobody wishes they had the diveballs for their pelipper because they're easy to stock up on so if you keep throwing them it'll catch, but you'll never have enough lure balls to make a druddigon stay in one without dedicating your whole day to resetting.

At least for now we have breeding...

Not counting the balls exclusive to Hisui and the Park Ball, there are currently 27 varieties of Poké Balls a Pokémon can be stored in.
In SV, there are 78 cases for your Rotom Phone.
Can someone tell me why a glorified menu has more customization in one game than the one of the most iconic tools of this franchise throughout the entire series?

Only Master and Cherish. Everything else should be fair game.

Why are balls genetic? WHY ARE BALLS A GENETIC TRAIT THAT CAN BE PASSED DOWN!?

If you don’t see the connection between better hardware and more complex ui, I don’t know what to tell you

Considering my current thankless task, I'm glad. I've caught at least one of each evolutionary line that can be in a Safari Ball, and now I'm breeding examples of each for my collection with the same nature, and perfect zero IVs.

>We're a simple, god-fearing family. A classic Pokéball was good enough for my parents, like it was good enough for theirs. No child of mine will be in any fancy Apricorn ball. I don't care how well it goes with your "balltism".

Radical Red does, but it's the best Pokemon game so I can't blame you for not bringing it up.
