Seems like a lot of doujins archived online don't have recorded release dates, unfortunately.
The pokemon doujin I could find with the oldest date recorded is pic related, by MANA, from 1988/08/15.
For ero doujins, the one with the oldest date I found was one by 計奈恵 from 1996.

...But Red and Green only released in '96. Does the pre-release material really go back that far?

Huh, right, that doesn't make sense, I didn't even notice. Scratch that then. And that doujin seems to mention Pokemon GS and Stadium, so it must have actually released like 12 years later or so. Dumb mistake, not just by me but also the two sources I checked that seem to have put 1988 on that doujin for some reason.
This other general doujin is listed as being released on 1997, which makes more sense, but I guess I can't trust the sources I found since not only are a lot of dates missing but several are incorrect? (Like another one put at 1995)
