No image, but Blastoise. IMO the worst design of Gen 1 and maybe all of Pokemon, period. Squirtle and Wartortle were both 10/10 designs, and then they fuck up the final evolution so badly. The little water cannons are so fucking unbelievably stupid, I hated them as a kid and I hate them now. But everyone else fucking loves Blastoise. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

I hate the gimkick, but there a handful of these designs that I wish were regular evos, or just flat-out the normal design for that pokemon. Mega Gallade should have been what it looked like all along, the flowing cape matches so well with Gardevoir's dress, same for the red blades on it's arms matching the spikes on the evo line.

1. The cannons were the same color as the border of the shell in earlier depictions. It wasn't until the anime that they became distinctly metallic, probably because of people like you assuming so instead of thinking like >>57945947.
2. Metal is not inherently inorganic, your own blood needs large amounts of iron. Some animals even grow metallic body parts.
3. Blastoise is the Shellfish Pokémon not because it's a clam or oyster but so you know where Game Freak got the idea for the siphons. They basically spell it out for you in case it wasn't obvious enough, so not figuring it out is entirely your mistake.
