I miss RSE Steven, when he looked serious with an adult charm, not like a bishonen.

Steven Stone is one of my favourite champions and Pokemon trainers in general.
He's relatable since I used to collect cool stones when I was younger and I wanna start collecting again, also shiny Metagross is my favourite since I found a Shiny Beldum in my first ever romhack 12 years ago.
He's unrelatable because I'm not a playboy gorillionaire with apex accolades. Some people have it all I guess.

I genuinely have to wonder where people get this "he looked more mature in RSE" mindset came from because I sincerely doubt it's genuine. RS's art style is utter fucking shit and a horrible deformation of the Gen I/II art style that made characters look like abstract blocks and was part of the reason Hoenn wasn't as popular of a region until the remakes dropped. ORAS' batting average for redesigns improving all the old characters is basically everybody but the main characters
