I don't play or interact with any official media, I just like the setting, premise and most of the characters/mons. Its just a shame theres not much in the way of Pokemon TTRPG games or players.

I don't actually play, I'm here because/v/ is insufferable, /pw/ can get a bit intense, /co/ was my old home board, but post covid I gave up on super heroes. I can't touch /a/ right now since I'm avoiding all the things. So I hop on /vp/ since right now, and it ain't saying much, it's the sanest place on the internet.

Older games (1-5) are still good, plus spinoffs and older remakes. They have high replayability and I just like trying out different Pokemon.

Pokemon is one of those franchises that has filled the niche of myth and religion in some people's lives, like Disney or superheros. It's so ingrained into most of our lives that removing it would be no small task.

I had some fun with Let’s go, SWSH, and especially PLA.

The only one I hated was sv, and that was because its dlc was bad. However PLZA is being made by a different team; plus it has Delphox in it who may or may not get a mega, so I’m excited. I don’t think there’s anything that’d make me “quit” considering that if I hated the main games I can just play the spinoffs and rom hacks.

Does it look and run like shit? Yes. Is the open world well executed? Could certainly be better. But the characters and the story are really fucking good. And I like a lot of the new Pokémon.
The schizo theory posting prior to the DLC was the most fun I ever had on /vp/.
