I think it has quite a bit of potential, was doubtful when we only knew of a handful of the set's cards, but Slurpuff is a big help for the deck, so I can see it managing to do decently well under most circumstances.
That said I can see a few problems with it, like starting with Milcery instead of Swirlix, losing Slurpuff before you get enough Sweets Relay off and a few other things, but overall I think it's a pretty good deck.

Data mined info has found that trade update is coming at the end of July. Rejoice!

1. You will be able to create a card wishlist that your trade partner can view
2. Trade token requirement will be converted to a shinedust requirement.
3. You will be able to convert up to 60 trade tokens for 60 pack hourglasses; and 1 trade token for 10 shinedust (unlimited; conversion units of 10, 100 or 1000 shinedust)

Additional notes based on some comments -

1. Currently the shinedust cost for trading is not known
2. 2 star/promo trading isn't included in this update
