I notice how many characters in the anime just use Tera to double their original STAB (even in the game this is generally true). Total waste of the mechanic.
Megas though are always portrayed as Legendary tier mons with huge gains and powerful attacks.

Every attack is changed to a max attack (some are made into G max unique moves), which all have busted secondaries. Like flying gives a speed boost to your team, all kanto starters get g-max 12% dot on the enemy side (not on the team, their side of the field), fighting max gives an attack boost, poison gives a sp attack boost, normal lowers enemy attack. Only poison and fighting have a limited damage, the others go up to 200 power, I think.
