Never ever, and given the state of the modern games I'm very happy with that. XD was a mechanical improvement but overall game design, environments, characters, story, and pacing were so watered down. Today it'd be back to starting at level 5 with singles only, the admins being zero threat, Realgam Tower would be gone because it was originally a giant casino - can't have that association now even after we cut out the actual gambling for legal compliance, they'd shove an icy area somewhere instead of just letting ice types be imports or nocturnal to get around the desert heat, it'd just be another Ohmori story full of family drama with a misunderstood villain, and shadow pokemon would be weaker than normal pokemon at the same level because they don't want kids to get the idea they're a good thing because they're strong/useful.

I'm so fucked that I would settle for them acknowledging the Orre region by changing the "distant land" met location to Orre.
Since the games are going up on the GameCube VC and with there being a way to actually remove your Pokemon off of this potentially (if you want to do a GameCube VC transfer, your save data is deleted in the process) it would be cool for them to finally update this.

I don't need a new Orre game as much as I need a remake or even just an offhand mention in a newer generation integrating them into the greater Pokemon canon. Hopefully since they were some of the first games confirmed to appear on the NSO GameCube app and the Pokemon Presents in July we get some Orre love.
