Something's been bothering me about Pokemon Gen 4.
So Team Galactic is basically themed entirely around space and their whole plan is they wanna revive a Pokegod that can create a new galaxy for them.
Ok that makes sense... for Pokemon Pearl, where Palkia, the controller of space, is the box legendary.
What the fuck does that have to do with Diamond and Dialga, who controls time instead? How do time powers allow you to create a new galaxy?
Did they forget to come up with a separate Team Temporal like in Gen 3?

It is fixed in Platinum, where they catch both, but Giratina was so obscure that they didn't have a countermeasure for her.

Cyrus doesn't want a new galaxy, he wants to recreate the world to one without spirit because he views emotions as a fault. Both space and time should be needed in that case and honestly it bothered me even as a kid that he only did one or the other just because of version exclusivity.

Well, ultimately, they're related so if you control one you control the other.
On DP he also says

So, he thought the entirety of Arceus's power was only either Palkia or Dialga(and we as players know the other is a thing because of metatextual knowledge)
