I couldn't be bothered to indulge the baiting faggot OP who expected me to watch a 21 minute video by some random numale about tilesets, so I skipped to 2 minutes in, and if it's any indication of how that minute went, there's absolutely no argument this thread is making.

Most of those nitpicks are just due to the fact the game's graphics are a glorified puzzle with limites tiles per area. There are universal ones (mostly just water/grass/sand/caves/maybe the generic buildings and shit) but most places have to get creative. Some of the things in the video are bizarre, but things like grass pixels under a gym door or a corner piece not having a shadow, that shit's annoying but most of the time it just wasn't worth cramming in more graphics when things worked just fine
