Your welcome. Though the thing is 100% IV’s aren’t actually optimal for great and ultra league. What you actually want is high def and hp but low attack.
Attack adds more to the CP formula so having low attack lets a Pokémon fit more stats overall without going over the CP limit.
However. Please do not get too caught up on IV’s or trying to hunt for the single most optimal stat spread for a pokemon. The Pokémon you use, the type synergy, their moves, and knowing how to use them are far more important than IVs. And since you are likely saving your Hundos anyway, using them for PvP is logical. And having higher attack can be helpful since if two Pokémon hit their charge move at the same time the one with the higher attack goes first.
The best solution for ladder anxiety to just get started, and try to reflect on how well you play rather than whether you win or loses every if you’d obviously prefer to win

aside from what >>57962115 said I'd suggest trying to do as many special research tasks as you can, there's a bunch that should unlock as your level increases that give mythicals and such.
Trying to get some mega evolutions is always good too, you can get beedrill and diancie easily but for the others you'd need to do either a bunch of field research tasks that reward mega energy or a few 4* raids. The main reason to get as many megas as possible isn't even to use them to battle, you also get more candy from catching wild pokemon of the same type

leekduck and pokegenie are basically group finders for raids, finding a group that someone else is hosting and joining with a remote raid pass is quick but you need coins to get the passes, you can host 1 or 2 per day with free passes but you often have to wait like 10-20 minutes to find a group that way.
Just try not to get carried completely, if your team gets ko'd you can rejoin after reviving them or with a different team.
A small added bonus is that some of the randos you add to do raids with might want to exchange gifts with you regularly which is an easy source of items and xp

Its constantly hot like satans taint in there. And today was a relatively hot day for my tastes of 66 to 70 degrees (still a lot cooler outside than at my work)

No way to know for sure over the internet but it might be something physical on your end? Just for example I've noticed that if any raindrops get on my screen it tends to interfere with the game, or sometimes my fingernails will graze the screen as I move my finger to throw and it messes it up. Perhaps its something like that?
