>How do I get it?
You have to play Pokemon Go and connect to SV
>How do I connect to SV?
In Go’s settings, go to Nintendo Switch. In SV, go to the poke portal and then connect to Go via the mystery gift menu
>Okay, now what?
You have to swipe a stop or gym in Go, that will give you a gift. You can look at the gift in the item menu, and pin it to your postcard menu that is located in your scrapbook by your profile menu.
>What do I do with the postcard?
The postcard is the way to connect to SV. By selecting it, you can “””send””” it to SV, which activates Vivillon spawns of whatever pattern your region is from. SV however helps give you the coin bag.
>What do I do with the coin bag?
You can tap on it, where it will last for 30 minutes. It’s like an incense item. You must spend those 30 minutes continuously walking to get gimmighoul to spawn. After some checks, you’ll most likely find the shiny roaming form eventually, the chances are pretty good.
>My 30 minutes are up. What now?
The coin bag can only be used once per day, so you can only get another one by the next midnight to try and get more gimmighouls.
>Will this shiny unlocked gimmighoul be a permanent stay or will it only be during this event that lasts until the 6th?
Oh, I actually uh, don’t know…
>Anything else I should know?
Also debuting from Go is a special Gimmighoul which has a different coin and a unique catch background…which is just the equivalent of any pokemon with a hat on in Go. They cannot be sent to Home, so if you find one of these ‘costume’ Gimmighoul and they’re shiny, well, they can never leave Go. Beware!
Happy hunting!
