Pokemon Remakes are abjectly opposed to what a good remake is supposed to do. All they do is redo what's been done before in a better engine, with maybe the sole exception being ORAS but even that's faithful to an unnecessary degree. It means the only good remake is HGSS because remaking a good game and keeping it mostly the same meant it didn't break anything when games like Kanto and Sinnoh needed proper updates

Galar is fucked. They're never going to fix the story, they're never going to give it the presentation it clearly wanted, they're never going to revisit it in a meaningful way when the modern way to "revisit" these games are lore-sequels like Legends. Even worse there's a high likelihood its characters, the part it clearly cared about the most, will be eroded by the sands of time with all that's left being the autistic Marnie pedos who frankly scare me more than Lilliefags do with their obsession. It will be seen as the rightfully deserved dark age of Pokemon where quality no longer meant anything going forward because people just wanted their Pokemon
