The Strange House from BW was better in being scary. The tie-ins to Darkrai and Cresselia's gimmick were also chosen well.

For me it was the first couple encounters with AZ that scared me as a kid because he made it feel like something was wrong with my game.

I remember the very first time I actually entered the Old Chateau was the one time where I got the events where the ghosts appear. That scared the living hell out of me. Took a while for me to get my courage back and enter it for the Rotom. The Eterna Forest as a whole is a very memorable place to me.

I was already 15 when it released so not really. I did like the spooky vibes though.

Despite being obviously much older, I actually had a similar reaction when I saw him for the first time. It startled me how fucking big he was, the inhuman nature of his height is definitely really weird.

Strange House was too explained so it's less scary. Old Chateau really nailed the creepypasta vibe by randomly jumpscaring you with ghosts that the rest of the game doesn't elaborate on at all.

Think what bothered me most was the painting in one of the rooms.

Examining the statues showed text they were watching or something, and then you had the painting with red eyes that actually shifted to look into other rooms if you were in them and turned off when directly looked at.

Literally nobody cares, idiots like you are why there’s a rivalry between old gen Z and young millennials, despite the fact that both had very similar life experiences growing up

Honestly feels very one-sided, more like an obsession with zoomers by guys who can't accept that they're no longer in their 20's, especially chinner types.

Walking through walls to reach the Mystery Zone and then finding Pokemon God, scary music and all, is the type of stuff they made rumors about in the RBY days.

I think it's the same few posters who keep bringing zoomers up unprompted. It never adds anything, just invites and breeds shitposting. How obsessed can they be?
