Illinois and Missouri should be Kalos then. Michigan debatably too. Hoenn should only be the Gulf States (excluding Texas), Georgia Carolinas and the Appalachian states should be Johto rather than the mountain states (who should be Sinnoh). Nevada and California should be Paldea. you could arguably put Virginia in Unova.

Yes, the map generator used has Illinois divided into 3 regions, no other divisions unlike other states. Had to work with that limitation and also keep the numbers as "even" as possible like OP.

I'd be cool with this, Kanto is definitely in the top 3 overall best Pokémon designs in my mind (you can probably guess the other two). Would also be cool to have a reason to head north just to evolve some of my favorites.

On a side note, I wish this is how Pokémon GO worked. Not in the sense that every slice of the world needs its own region-specific Pokémon, like what they ended up doing with the game, but I just wish there was more of a reason to travel around the world in that game. The constant rotation of events means the only reason you would ever want to travel is if you want a certain regional ASAP or you want to do an in-person event. There's no reward to going to any unique locations (outside Bruce Lee's burial site, for some reason), there's no reward for going to any locations visited by little to no one (the closest thing is that you'll have a good shot at winning showcases in the middle of the woods), there's pretty much no reason to leave the city outside farming random shitmons.
