I'm only talking about the pack system that simulates a box.

There have been discussions how to deal with multi energy mons and with multiple energy cards.

One idea that I believed would satisfy both and add another level of strategy is to allow the player to choose the order in which energy is generated.

The player would select what energy appears on turn 1 and so on in deck creation. This provides a level strategy because the player can plan around an organizational set.

Cards are still random and draws are still random so it doesnt truely allow a player to stack the deck so to speak. There would still be a level of RNG to deal with. Thoughts??

If you deck has more than 2 energy the second is randomly generated like it currently is, but you never get 2 of the same. The whole "its trying to mimic energy in decks" angle falls flat because you're guranteed an energy every turn, unlike the tcg, so really there is no issue.

Yea, they work in theory but unless the game had a Trap Card mechanic where you activate it the moment they do a draw2 then it's pointless. They will use their Sylveon to draw 2, then get an Oak, then their second Sylveon, then their other mon to evolve into. By the time their turn is done they've had drawn half their deck already and only have 2 cards left in their hand. By that point giving them a Red Card or Mars would literally just give them an extra draw instead of punishing them.

Has anyone else been experiencing more crashes this patch? It's really weird. Like there are times where I use a Pokeball and the game insta-places the basic into my hand without an animation and it just freaks the fuck out and closes. I never had issues with the previous patches.

Sweets Relay is fucking bullshit, I love it. I do instantly lose going first against silvally, but otherwise, alcremie absolutely fucks a lot of ex decks.

In addition to what the other guy said, you have to watch your energy a little bit. It's Fire only so you need EX Leafeon to activate the other Leafeon. Ideally you're setting up EX Leafeon early, then retreating it and discarding that Fire energy to move it to your Flareon when you need the extra damage. Besides that, make wise use of your Eevee Bags and be careful of which ones to evolve - as in, I've fucked up a couple times by evolving non-EX Eevee instead of EX Eevee and then I lose by not having a single-point mon to throw out when they Sabrina.

Honestly just pull from extradimensional crisis, if you get buzzswole celesteela and pheremosa you basically got a deck going. Do all your tutorials and battle missions bullshit so you can open a bunch of packs. You can trade for anything that's not the current Eevee Grove set so you can trade for trainers, items and tools that get used in most decks - Sabrina, Cyrus, Red, Giovanni, Mars, Giant Cape, Rocky Helmet, etc. You can also look up what decks are consistently good like Darkrai Giratina, Solgaleo Shiinotic, Stoke Charizard, Inceneroar, etc and trade for those guys too. If you haven't been playing long maybe consider rerolling until you get something decent then keeping that account. Then you can save hourglasses from now going forward and pull on the next big set.

the buzzwole + celesteela bullshit switching strategy always goes far if you get the trainer cards you need.

also be judicious with your pack points and try to buy a pack up to 500 points when you can get an ex with your points or 150 points where you can at least get a rare. if you buy from every pack instead of focusing on just 2-3 and trading for extra trainer cards, then it'll take longer to build good decks.

you'll probably be stuck with just one good deck for a long time, but that's more important than getting a lot of mediocre ones going.

I really fucking hate the PvE events. Why does it take so fucking long to complete them? Like, the battles take fucking forever, which is fine I guess you only need to do them every 2 days, but then it also takes fucking forever to open up the packs because you have to do it individually.
